10pm, I woke to somebody in the kitchen.

It was 10pm on the mark, we’ve got a wall clock from 1890’s that chimes as it keeps perfect time. It started chiming, the dog started a low growl and I woke! I heard what sounded like somebody messing with the crate that our dog “Mack” sleeps in.

My son of course slept thru everything.

I checked the 1st floor, skipped the basement, 2nd floor and the attic. Because I don’t chase ghost! And we know that’s where they are!

I went back to bed, and as I reminded my wife it was her turn next time to calm the puppy I heard directly above me small feet running towards the front of the building. The funny thing is I was ok with it l was glad to hear the familiar sound of creepy footsteps.

My son informed us at breakfast this morning, that last night he was watching videos in bed, when someone banged on the window 3 times. The windows are 17 feet above the yard outside.

I expect things to slowly escalate, and we are ready for it!
