Pre dawn Mothers Day.

This is a new one for me. I’ve never heard footsteps this close. typically I hear them upstairs on the 2nd floor.

Sitting in the kitchen, lights off.

Waiting for sun rise.

I hear my son's footsteps, walking towards me.

From behind, I turn they stop, no one. My son is still sleeping!

I guess the 12 yr old spirit of the girl, after 60 plus days of living here

is starting to trust me, therefore getting closer.
